Our Students Shine at MUSKITNAS 2024
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of two of our outstanding students, Fasya (Grade 12) and Ditha (Grade 11), who recently made their mark at MUSKITNAS 2024, Indonesia’s first national-scale Model United Nations competition. Both students showcased their leadership, diplomacy, and intellectual prowess on a national stage, contributing to the discourse on pressing global issues.

Fasya (Grade 12): Co-Chair of the Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology (OPSGET)
For Fasya, MUSKITNAS marked the culmination of a long and inspiring journey in the MUN circuit, which began in 2018. As Co-Chair for the Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology (OPSGET), Fasya moderated discussions on one of the most talked-about topics of our time—Artificial Intelligence. Her role in facilitating these high-level discussions among talented young minds from across Indonesia is a testament to her expertise and passion for diplomacy.
Reflecting on the experience, Fasya shared:
“The endorsement and recognition by institutions like Puspresnas, the Indonesian Heritage Agency, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, alongside the invitation of 21 schools from 18 provinces, ignited youth diplomacy in Indonesia. It reflected the voices of our fallen heroes and serves as a stepping stone towards the Golden 2045. I am beyond honored to have been appointed as Co-Chair for OPSGET. Working alongside remarkable people in the MUN circuit, some of whom are friends, while inspiring others my age to begin their voyage is something I will cherish forever.”
Fasya’s role as a leader in MUSKITNAS 2024 highlights her dedication to making a difference in the global conversation about the future of technology and its impact on society. Her journey in MUN is truly inspiring, and her contribution to this event cements her place as one of Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri’s finest young diplomats.

Ditha (Grade 11): Academic Staff for UNESCO Council
Ditha’s journey at MUSKITNAS 2024 was equally remarkable. Serving as an Academic Staff for the UNESCO Council, Ditha helped facilitate discussions on the critical issue of culture preservation and its role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her involvement in this council allowed her to gain deeper insights into both the MUN process and how government bodies work to organize international events and discussions.
Ditha shared her thoughts on the experience:
“As an aspiring diplomat, Muskitnas MUN was one of my biggest stepping stones in my MUN journey as well as my future career. The national-scale MUN offered a unique opportunity to understand not only the workings of a MUN conference but also how government bodies operate and organize events. Through this endeavor, I connected with like-minded students from across Indonesia and professionals in the field of diplomacy. It was an unforgettable experience that marked my path toward my dreams.”
Ditha’s role at MUSKITNAS gave her a first-hand look at the intricacies of diplomacy and international relations, solidifying her passion for a future career in diplomacy. Her drive to understand and preserve global cultural heritage exemplifies her leadership potential and commitment to making a global impact.
MUSKITNAS: A Platform for Youth Diplomacy
MUSKITNAS, endorsed by key institutions such as Puspresnas, the Indonesian Heritage Agency, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, is a significant milestone in promoting youth diplomacy in Indonesia. The participation of 21 schools from 18 provinces is a reflection of the growing importance of youth involvement in shaping the future of the nation and the world. By engaging in discussions on critical topics such as Artificial Intelligence and cultural preservation, participants are contributing to the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
We are immensely proud of Fasya and Ditha for their accomplishments and contributions to MUSKITNAS. Their success reflects the values of leadership, global awareness, and academic excellence that we nurture at Sekolah Perkumpulan Mandiri. We are excited to see how their experiences at MUSKITNAS will propel them towards their future careers as global leaders.
