Our students recently demonstrated exceptional talent and global awareness at the prestigious Global Model WHO 2024 conference, held at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Representing diverse nations across critical committees, our delegates shone brightly in their roles, bringing pride to our school and showcasing the importance of youth in shaping global health policy.

The event brought together future leaders from around the world to discuss and propose solutions to pressing global health challenges. The following students made remarkable contributions:

Helena Elysia: Represented the Netherlands in Committee A2 (Mental Health and Youth), contributing insightful perspectives on the challenges faced by young people in accessing mental health services.

Chloe: Received the Diplomacy Award for her outstanding representation of Nepal in Committee A2 (Mental Health and Youth), displaying exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills.

Khairan: Honored with the Diplomacy Award for his representation of the UK in Committee A1 (Climate Change, Pollution, and Health), skillfully navigating complex discussions on environmental health issues.

Christabel: Won Best Position Paper for her compelling and well-researched submission representing Bangladesh in Committee A1 (Climate Change, Pollution, and Health), setting a benchmark for excellence.

Sean: Represented France in Committee A3 (Global Health and Peace Initiative), contributing meaningfully to discussions on the intersection of health and global peace efforts.

The Global Model WHO conference not only highlighted our students’ academic and diplomatic skills but also underscored their commitment to addressing critical global issues. By engaging in high-level discussions on mental health, climate change, and peace initiatives, our students demonstrated their readiness to contribute to meaningful change on a global scale.
